The data for this visualization comes from a forum that I administer for a moped gang that I founded. The Moped Army is a group of moped enthusiasts organized into local branches across the United States. In-between rallies where we can hang out in person we keep in touch via a private members' forum on our website. Each person with access to the forum belongs to a particular branch. My visualization shows historical usage patterns and participation trends per branch. Branches are represented by their group's logo at the bottom of the visualization; clicking on a branch toggles the display of its members' forum usage trends.

The height of the line shows the number of posts over time. There are two different methods of representing the number of people making those posts: (1) A circle is drawn with its width showing the number of people, or (2) The line has a shape with a varied height representing the number of people; these two options can be selected using the graphical buttons near the bottom. Additionally, by choosing a particular month on the graph the exact numerical number of posts and people making those posts is shown for each selected branch next to its logo.

This visualization is important because is allows members to see activity over time and understand each branchís participation in group discussion and decision-making.
