We first created a navigation map and wire frames for our final website.

The final version factored in the lessons learned from our interviews and feedback from the class critiques. We produced an initial page to be seen upon a user's first navigation to the site, a page of search results, and a detailed page showing the features we wanted to include with each recipe.

Icons

After we had decided on what meal we were cooking and what things we would need to cook it, we assigned the icon creation of those items to James Soracco. He acquired images from the Internet of those items, making sure that they would be clear and easy to understand when they are icons at a smaller size. He took them into illustrator and hand traced each icon. In order to keep the icons visible at a small size, he stayed with only a few colors of grey. This allowed the icons to stay visible and recognizable at a smaller size.
