  • Senior buyers are either directed toward the simplest system or the retro "nostalgic" offerings

Marketing

  • Only example of a music player being marketed to seniors was the Bose Waveradio which claims to be "As easy as plugging it in"
  • Simplicity and ease of use

Interviews and Observations

  • Simple and Continuous music is desired
  • Devices that encourage social connection are appreciated
  • Music is able to fill the void of an otherwise silent, empty home
  • Acquiring new music is not a high priority
